Here we are, bummed that they postponed the Mardi Gras parade due to the threat of rain. Note the clearly defined shadows due to the sunshine in the later pictures.
Apparently, the parade officials are number 1 in Mike's book.

Was at Mardi Gras 2003. I was heart broken to see the city after the hurricane. So glad it is slowly picking up again.

This was my first time at Mardi Gras and it was a lot of fun. Some of the people I was with, who went to previous Mardi Gras, said that it was much more subdued than previous years. They also said that there were far fewer people on Bourbon Street.
